Flaky skin problem????

Ok so recently I've purched Proactive to clear up my acne and it works but it's making my skin really flakey, I want to continue to use it but i don't want my face to be flaky, I've been usig lotion but it only works for an hour then my skin gets flaky again. I stopped using Proactive for a few days but it didn't help that much. Any ideas on what i should do? Anything would help even a good brand of lotion.

Help please! Thanx.

Actually, waiting for your skin to fully dry before applying moisturizer is a bad idea. After cleansing, you have about three minutes to protect the existing moisture in your skin, so put your lotion on immediately.

If your skin is getting flaky, then the product is overdrying your skin and you shouldn't use it. Try reducing how frequently you use it, or use it only on your most problematic areas.

Check out aveda products. Their Outer Peace line is wonderful, and after initially clearing up my breakouts, I only use the cleanser and spot gel on a regular basis.

Let your face get completely dry after washing it (15-20mins) and then put moisturizer on. It works a lot better that way because immediately after rinsing your face, your skin cells are moist with water and they dont absorb the moisturizer very well. Palmersons Cocoa Butter with added vitamin E, that will help clear up acne scarring too.
