Help skin problem?

I am very dark and I always wondered why because I was born pretty light and my mom and dad and grandma are pretty light. One day at my school they used a light that shows sun damage on you skin ( sun damage shows up as purple) and I was like soo purple . So if it is sun damage how can i reverse it because I do not want to go and used that poison of skin bleach they sell over the counter because I swa someone who uses it ant it looks like someone threw up lightness on his face and it is uneven.So is there a prescription ore something that i can take?

Obviously, the best answer would be to embrace your black, beautiful self! I'm a white girl myself, and sun damaged as well. I went to a specialist who recommended laser-now i dont know if it works the same on darker skins, but in theory it should! The problem is that if you lighten your face, wont the rest of you still be dark??? Another doc i went to recommended hydroquinine(i cant remember the perscription strength)...try to remember it is our differences that make us beautiful, as i am sure you are!

Reply:omg. you dont need to worry about bleaching your skin if its dark. you should wear a sunscreen every morning before leaving the house to prevent sun damage. you probally have a lot of melanin in your skin and that is why you burn easily
Reply:You should probably ask a dermatologist about this as it might be serious. They might also might be able to help with the skin lightening, too.

Reply:Well a lot of blacks are light as babies, but if you look at their ears it tells you the true complextion they will be. That should be a KNOWN fact. Also you can just start using sunscreen everytime you go out. It will not reverse the damage, but it will help to prevent furtherdamage.
