Skin problem arising in old people?

My grandmother, at the age of 75, has some spots growing on the sides of her hands and feet. This has been ongoing for more than healf a year. The spots are blueish-purple in colour. She has gone to see a skin specialist, but he said that there is nothing wrong with her. Some General Practitioners (GPs) said that she might be alergic to food or detergent. She still eat the same foods as always and has stopped using detergents for about 2 to 3 months till now, but the spots still did not go away. Some people told her that veins will burst in old people. Is that true? What is wrong with her and how can it be healed?

old people are slower in their body system in anyway, so it takes a longer time to heal and even it has heal there may be scar

your grandmother could have some bruise or monior cut under the skin but blood cannot be disperse from there, u can try massaging for her to help the circulation i think it will help
