Skin problem help??

Hi..my son is 17/18 next year! in the last couple of months he has suffered with quite a few spots round his mouth.! he has never suffered from spots until now and we have also noticed that he sweats alot more than he used to! is this norm at this age? as we thought it would usually occur at or around puberty which he has obviously gone through at around 14. thanks xx

Everyone is different, it sounds like hormone changes are still occurring and he nor has some peri-oral acne. He can try over the counter cleansers, but if this is not successful his GP will be able to help.

might want to inquire about what co ed extra cirricular activities he's been up to lately, since that doesn't sound kosher to me....
Reply:I only ever got spots around my mouth and it was usually down to leaning on my hand or rubbing my chin when stressed or studying etc and I didn't get any until about 16 so start at the obvious explanation first.
