Skin problem , Need help !?

I used an hair removing cream on the cheek bone area to get rid of the unwanted hairs , after using it , eventhough the hairs are gone but it left brown spots on my cheekbone on the bothsides, it burns when i feel it or apply a little water. How do i get rid of these spots ?


Name of the cream - Nair.


P.S- All the suggestions are welcomed , I'll be thankful.

I suggest stop using nair and consult your doctor about other possible creams for hair removal. However they have nair for sensitive skin.


For the rash, I suggest removing any of the left over nair (if there is any left) by washing it gently with warm water and soap. Then buy some polysporin (I'm from canada, so I'm not sure if it is available where you are) or some diaper rash cream, or some Vaseline.

It sounds like the cream chemically burned your skin. Was this product specifically for facial hair? Contact the manufacturer for further advice. Until then, treat it like any other burn with a topical burn cream. The brown spots will fade (hopefully!) in time.
Reply:I would contact your doctor right away, I've never heard of Nair doing that to your skin. Maybe you had an allergic reaction.
