i've been using proactive for about a year now and it doesn't seem to work for me.
what face cleanser do you reccomend?
Skin problem?
if you have acne then i don't know, but if you have like smallish-medium pimples around your face try applying toothpaste on them a few times a day continuously, it really worked for me, it doesn't take all of them but helps with the redness and size, but don't wash your face with soap or anything before you do this, it makes it redder. just warm water or cold water (depends on your skin). when it dries wait like 10-30 minutes then scratch them off and reapply.
Skin problem?
Clinique has an acne line, you might try that.
Reply:I know this sounds really weird but I wash my face with plain soap(NO moisturizer) and then I put a little bit of toothpaste on my zits... It really works for me I swear
Reply:you should go see a dermatologist cuz you might need something stronger
Reply:Proactiv uses Benzoyl Peroxide as its active acne-fighting ingredient. Another chemical that works really well on acne is Salicylic Acid. You should try a cleanser that contains that, and no alcohol.
Reply:You could try using anti-bacterial hand soap that has helped me before.
Reply:Hm mp..I think you have to use an antibacterial scrub...
Reply:Buy Noxema Pads ..from Walmart, Walgreens, any health department. The pads will clear those little bumps that appear scarsely right on up..Good Luck
Reply:I have been using original Noxzema in the blue tub for years and it works real well for me and my skin is not that oily any more either.
Reply:use ivory
Reply:Natural ayurvedic cosmetics for problem skin - Himalaya. Their gentle face wash gel (soap free) is great. So is their pimple cream.

Reply:Have you tried the Arbonne International products? They are a natural product with a 1% perservative base. They have an acne line. The little bumps that you get are from the products you use pulling the dirt out of your pores. If a product has mineral oil in it, it tends to block the pores and you will continue to have this problem.
Reply:Clerasil Ultra really works for me but it costs around 6 or 7 dollars
Reply:Clearasil facial wipes. First time using them they might sting, but you get used to them and they work wonders drying up pimples.
