What are some home remedies for dry skin?

I've been having really bad skin problems because of the cold weather lately. my skin is drying out and it's starting to peel a little bit. i tryed using baby powder and that worked a little bit. does anyone have any suggestions?

umm thats all i can think of right now.





baby powder wont help much at all to be honest with you.





if they are your hands or feet rub vasaline on it like youre rubbing lotion on, put on sock or gloves over night and in the morning they should be softer already. keep doing this untill you feel its improved. you can do this on your knees and elbows with an old sock and just cut the toe part off.








i saw somewhere to use crisco (fat lard) but i personally think thats discusting.

ohh im sorry.. for your face... im not sure if there is any home remidies... there is lotions.. i have a really sensitve face too and sometimes i get dry patches.. i use about half the size of a dime every day before i sleep and when i wake up of nutregena age defying lotion.. its supposed to be for wrinkles but it evens out my skin pretty nicely. (about $22)


you can also try elecon cream... i think its prescripted though.


you can try some vitamine e oils to put on your face but not too much.


have you heard of murad? it suppopsed to be an acne line but the lotion is really good for sensitve faces. i used to use that.
